Description
Etilaam is a prescription medicine manufactured by Intas Pharmaceuticals. It’s related to the Benzodiazepine family, and has a similar calming effect on the body. It is often prescribed to effectively and efficiently manage short term, temporary feelings of stress or anxiety, perhaps relating to exams or interviews, travel, or other stressful events. Etilaam may help patients to feel more relaxed and at ease, reducing anxious feelings.
How Etilaam Works
Etilaam contains the active ingredient Etizolam. Although Etizolam is not a Benzodiazepine, it is a ‘Benzo’ derivative called Thienodiazepine, and it works in much the same way. It binds to a chemical messenger in the body called the GABA neurotransmitter, which tells the brain to stop working overtime and slow down a little.
The result is that the brain operates at a slightly slower speed; it relaxes the muscles to produce a calming, almost drowsy effect, and reduces anxious, worrying thoughts.
Etilaam Uses
Etilaam is often prescribed to treat:
- Short term anxiety
- Severe nervousness
- Generalised anxiety disorder
- OCD
- Panic disorder
- Insomnia and other disruptive sleep disorders
Etilaam Dosage
Etilaam is often prescribed in a 0.5mg dosage. However, it is important to take Etilaam as advised by the prescribing doctor as it’s considered to be a habit-forming medicine. It should be taken by mouth, with or without food, ideally at the same time – or a similar time – each day to maintain a consistent concentration of the medicine in the blood.
Even if you feel better, continue taking Etilaam as prescribed by your doctor for the full duration. Stopping before the completion of the course may risk symptoms returning.
Etilaam Side Effects
Etilaam is generally considered to be safe when taken as prescribed, especially at low doses. However, as the active ingredient is derived from Benzodiazepines, some people may experience similar side effects to these drugs. Possible side effects may include:
- Drowsiness
- Problems with balance and coordination
- Difficulty speaking or slurred speech
- Involuntary eye movements
- Low blood pressure
- Slow heartbeat
- Increased sleepiness
It is important for patients to read the patient information leaflet in the packaging for a full list of possible side effects from taking Etilaam. Always consult with the prescribing doctor if side effects persist. If experiencing difficulty breathing, call 999 immediately.

(verified owner)This is a legitimate product, each equivalent to at least 5 mgs of diazepam (but with a shorter half life) and theoretically safer in terms of tolerance development. Given the Recent Prohibition by certain countries on any medication which even remotely correlates with what in reality is an Epidemic caused by complex sociological problems face by certain individuals vs. the Medication itself, I had to decide if I wanted to continue being a disillusioned Patient who was not getting my Treatment Needs met, or if I wanted to take the risks necessary, to become an Informed Healthcare Consumer. This was not easy, and I am not going to promise that this process will be straight forward by traditional standards. However, I received this product relativly quickly, as promised.
